For our client, a dominant player in the corporate services industry in Luxembourg, we are
looking for an Associate Director Operations
Your opportunity
The role is responsible for further improvement of quality and quality awareness within the
business units and support teams as well as setting an example to safeguard the service
standards of the company. Furthermore, he/she will advise the Business Unit Director(s) to
improve the quality of work within the respective business unit(s) and to further improve
internal communication and ensuring organizational effectiveness between and within the
business units/support teams.

with global law firms and accountancy firms, multinational corporations, financial
institutions, fund managers, high net worth individuals and family offices
Your responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Setting the example with respect to quality and ensures excellent
(administrational) service standards
- Managing and increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of support teams (HR,
IT, Finance, Risk & Compliance, etc.) through improvements as well as
coordination and communication between support and line functions
- Creating conditions and working environment in such a way that employee
satisfaction is optimised
- Ensuring respect of procedures within the various business units in compliance
with internal policies (e.g. ISAE) as well as external legal and regulatory
requirements (e.g. CSSF, PSF related, etc.).
- Developing and improving operational systems, processes and policies as well as
managing of process improvements
- Driving initiatives in the Management Team and organization and contributing to
short and long-term operational excellence and organizational strategy and
planning
- Overseeing, initiating and implementing changes in any ICT applications
- Developing project plans, overall action items and specific deliverables
- Completing (ad hoc) projects and duties or responsibilities as needed and
gathering project requirements and document objectives + creating project
management structure
- Managing projects (local or organization wide) that have an impact on relevant
organizational efficiencies and assisting in local implementation/roll-out.
- Directing and advising new systems implementation ensuring maximum reporting
benefits are derived
- Proposing the implementation of innovative procedures/solid processes to support
immediate business needs
- Playing a significant role in (long-term) planning, including an initiative geared
toward organizational excellence
- Driving local change management and supporting the organization’s change
management program
- Supporting other activities aligned with the organization’s defined Operations plan
and strategy.
Your profile:
You have strong communication skills and can work well in a team and independently
- You are accurate, organized, flexible, hands-on and deliver their best work when
facing a tight deadline
- You have relevant working experience in project management
- You are fluent in English, written and spoken. Any additional language is
considered an advantage
