For our client, a dominant player in the corporate services industry in Luxembourg, we are
looking for a talented Manager Direct Tax Compliance
Your responsibilities
As Manager Direct Tax Compliance you will be responsible for a wide range of activities:
- Prepare and review direct Tax returns and calculate Tax provisions for national
and international client companies - Communicate new Tax developments to the other departments, including the
sales opportunities and/or corresponding exposures - Evaluate and make risk assessment on Tax issues for existing and new clients as
well as being the contact person for external Tax Advisors - Encourage, coach, and manage the members of the Direct Tax & Regulatory
Services Department on Tax matters and their daily tasks - Coach, advise and help the Accountants with Direct Tax & Regulatory matters
- Provide internal Tax training
Your profile:
We are looking for a candidate who:
- Has at least 6-7 years of relevant work experience in Direct Tax in a Luxembourg
fiduciary, Tax services provider or financial institution; Knowledge in FATCA/CRS
is an asset - Has a minimum of 2 years of experience in a managerial role
- Wants to succeed, grow, be challenged and challenge others
- Has strong communication, leadership skills and a pro-active attitude
- Has studied Finance/ Economics/ Tax Law or equivalent
- Is fluent in English, written and spoken. Any additional language (German or
French) is considered an advantage
