Junior Accountant (Amsterdam)



We are searching for a Junior Accountant. Our client is a renowned service provider with worldwide offices and 45+ years of experience. The (boutique) office in Amsterdam has mainly corporate clients in its portfolio and the team is a combination of accounting and legal experienced persons. The communication lines with colleagues and clients are short and considered valuable. As addition to our accounting team, we are looking for a full-time Junior accountant to work in close cooperation with the Senior accountant.



Responsibilities



  • Perform administrative tasks for client entities including:

o Day-to-day bookkeeping, including bank statements and invoices

o Liaise with clients about periodic reporting and questions

o Identify accounting issues and report to line manager

o Prepare various regulatory reports

o Prepare statutory accounts

o Prepare VAT returns

  • Maintain the (digital) files of the client entities.
  • Keep up to date with regulatory requirements.


Your profile



  • Accountant education and several years of working experience in an administrative role
  • Good English and Dutch written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of trust services and related business is an advantage
